An announcer and computer graphics right out of "Escape from New York" inform us that, by 1997, gangs have taken control of Seattle. In the midst of a "Free Fire Zone" is Kennedy.

Back in 1984, the teachers were afraid of the pupils, in Class of 1984 (1982). Now, in 1999, it's the other way round.

Class of 1999's "free-fire zone" in Seattle reminds me of a more extreme version of the real-life autonomous zone currently in Seattle, haha. Love the score, clothing, make-up, and casting (especially Bradley Gregg and John P. Ryan). Also has some good effects in the third act. Some logical inconsistency in the writing, but still very enjoyable.
